Hey Reader,

Hello my wonderful peeps! Hope you are doing swell today.

The weather is getting nicer, so I wanted to share a downloadable PDF with you. We are at the start of summer, (and I love the warmer weather) and a lot of you are planning vacations. Have you ever tried your hand at applique?? I would love for you to try a simple pattern, and let me know what you think. Or maybe you are a pro at it and can teach me a thing or two. Hi there Reader! Still playing with surface pattern design to make repeating patterns for fabric and wallpaper. I get my inspiration from taking photographs of my flowers, upload to Adobe Illustrator, and use the pencil tool and the pen tool to outline them, then color them up. It is intense but so rewarding. Hi there Reader, My only excitement this week is a drawing today for a quilt I made. It's a raffle for my quilt - to help pay for a trip to Washington D.C. next summer for my grandson.
