I was drugged as a child 🤪

Hey there Reader,

My Daddy and Moma drugged me as a child. They drug me to church every time the doors were open. LOL. They drug me to Sunday School. They drug me to church. They drug me to prayer meeting. They drug me to church camp every summer. This instilled a strong faith in my beliefs. I accepted Christ in my youth. The good LORD has helped me through many situations in my life. He is my rock. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. I am so thankful that I was drugged as a child. I have someone to turn to in times of trouble, and my faith is stronger because of it. I want to encourage you to always trust in God! Create a personal relationship with him and you will never be alone.

I also would like to encourage you to go to church this Easter Sunday. And, if you have a prayer request, I would like to add you to my prayer list. Reply to this email and let me know how I can pray for you!

Weekly DIY

Speaking of Easter, I whipped up something to wear for Sunday. I made a jacket and a straight skirt. The jacket is a project in one of my courses. But the skirt is available in a new blog post. You can find out How to Make a Straight Skirt here.

Thanks for reading this far! And thanks for being on my friends list.

Weekly Inspiration

Psalms 61:2-4 KJV
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, When my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings.

Hi there Reader! Still playing with surface pattern design to make repeating patterns for fabric and wallpaper. I get my inspiration from taking photographs of my flowers, upload to Adobe Illustrator, and use the pencil tool and the pen tool to outline them, then color them up. It is intense but so rewarding. I'll share my portfolio soon. I'm working on it. In the meantime, here is an alteration tip for you... Weekly DIY Alterations on a sequined dress for Homecoming Court. I always have...

Hi there Reader, My only excitement this week is a drawing today for a quilt I made. It's a raffle for my quilt - to help pay for a trip to Washington D.C. next summer for my grandson. It will be very educational. He will be going with a group from school. Side note: I designed the fabric and everything. I have it on Spoonflower. btw - we are the Panhandle Panthers. Gotta love small town sports. Turned out to be a pretty good fundraiser. Weekly DIY I heard scrunchies are back. Here is a...
