Weekly Inspiration

Philippians 4:6

"Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance...by prayer...make your wants known to God."

In Matthew 6:25-27, He said, "Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or...what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" (NIV)

What He was doing was commanding us not to be anxious because it demonstrates a lack of faith in God's faithfulness to us.

So, what are you going to do? Worry and fret, or pray and have peace? The choice is yours.

Hi there Reader! Still playing with surface pattern design to make repeating patterns for fabric and wallpaper. I get my inspiration from taking photographs of my flowers, upload to Adobe Illustrator, and use the pencil tool and the pen tool to outline them, then color them up. It is intense but so rewarding.
